A flavour of Blue Eyed Infidel by Cosmo Clark. You've really got to laugh!
2051. London has been nuked and is now an Islamic Caliphate
Written by Cosmo Clark, a cyber-warfare security consultant.
The thriller written ten years too early
Blue Eyed Infidel was written a decade ago, when small boats were just men on a jolly fishing trip and grooming gangs were just jolly fellows who liked brushing horses.
The establishment hated it. The few who read it genuinely loved it. Now is it's time to explode. If you pardon the pun.
Blue Eyed Infidel Summary
"A thrilling and thought-provoking read... an action-packed and easy-flowing page-turner that deals with some heavy ideas with a disarmingly light touch." — National News
After Islamists detonate a nuclear bomb at St Paul's Cathedral, London becomes the Islamic State of London: a decaying, jihadi-packed hellhole. Buckingham Palace houses the Caliph. Big Ben is a mosque. And the rest of the UK is next.
The book opens with Adam Ali: virgin, accountant, and blue-eyed son of a Pakistani jihadi and a white English sex slave, reluctantly caught in the middle of a rocket-boots suicide-bomb attack on Windsor Castle.
Ridiculed, used, abused and genetically experimented on by his overlords, Adam is given an apparent chance at proving himself a true Londoner. But then he commits the greatest sin imaginable: he falls in love with a Jew.
Meanwhile Kat, fiery Welsh ex-UFC fighter, is dragged into leading an army of rebel women, channelling her inner Boudicca. Her army started as a joke she made in bed about Islamists hating the idea of women with guns. The Pentagon funded it.
Swearing. Shagging. Graphic violence. Cannibalism. Sci-fi mutations. Razor-sharp social commentary. Extreme scheming. Cowardice. Bravery. Gut-wrenching despair and laugh out loud satire. Possibly the only book ever written with a funny 'rape' scene (where three women take advantage of a man).
If you're already spitting your mocha-coccachino all over your copy of The Guardian, you'll think it's pathetic. For everyone else... it's kinda prophetic?
Think the satire of 1984 meets the amped-up style of Trainspotting, directed by Hunter S. Thompson.
Probably the only book like it on Earth. And so yes, no surprises: it's self-published.
Book 1 of a planned trilogy. Book 2: The Green Eyed Warrior: the Battle for London.

Who Is Cosmo Clark?
Nobody knows, that's the point
In real life, Cosmo is a cyber-warfare consultant and counter terrorism technologist.
Blue Eyed Infidel was based on real ISIS incidents and quotes, but even then the truth had to be toned down.
Written ten years ago, it was rejected by publishers and avoided by mainstream media. Cosmo no longer pretends they were ever the audience.
His other book, Cosmo and Kat Hack Shanghai, draws on a consulting job involving technology used to fuel social unrest.
Hollywood will never make Blue Eyed Infidel, so Cosmo is making it himself, ironically enough with Chinese AI.
